Across the Mount Baker area there are a plethora of well-groomed cross-country trails, with hours of snowshoeing adventure, and deep-snow snowmobiling heaven. You are sure to find the natural beauty and thrills that you seek in this winter wonderland.
Mount Baker is the perfect place to bring your loved-ones this Christmas season! From enjoying a glass of bubbly while soaking in one of our private cabin hot-tubs, or simply enjoying a cozy cup of warm cocoa together in front of the fire.
And if you’re feeling the chill this Christmas, then you and your loved ones will have to try Mount Baker’s quaint and cozy local breweries to keep yourselves warm! One of the best examples of these establishments is North Fork Brewery which is known for its delicious designer pizza, and even more delicious craft beers!
If you’re not so into the party lifestyle, around New Year’s is also an amazing time for all of your favorite winter sports. February is considered to be the best month for snow quality on the slopes and trails, but because of this it is also one of the busiest months. However, the snowiest week of the year is statistically the third week of December, which usually boasts more than 4 days of snowfall with an average 31.5 inches of total accumulation. This makes New Year’s a great middle ground, with lots of high quality snow and shorter lines than in other months. While the snow may not be as perfect as in February, the shorter wait times at the lifts, less crowded views, and quieter atmosphere means that your trip might end up being better anyway.
